Last Saturday, the central opening ceremony of the sports tournament in celebration of the 50^th anniversary of the Banco de Moçambique and 45^th of the Metical, set to run until May 10^th, took place at Universidade Politécnica in Maputo.

The ceremony hosted futsal, basketball and volleyball games, as well as a health fair and blood donation. Moreover, the games will include football, volleyball, field and table tennis, chess, darts, netball, swimming and billiards, welcoming Banco de Moçambique employees and its partners.

Province-wise, the central bank's branches will also be hosting the event.
